Save the date cards, traditionally a US custom, are now very popular in the UK. Used to notify guests of your wedding date some months beforehand, they are a nice way to announce your wedding plans. It is a particularly good idea to send save-the-dates if your wedding is to be held overseas or you have guests that will need to book accomodation and travel arrangements. It is also useful to inform people early on if your wedding is to be held over a Bank Holiday weekend or during the summer holiday season so they can plan against booking any trips at the time of your wedding. To avoid confusion, don't send save-the-dates more than one year before your wedding, i.e if your wedding is in July 2007, don't send a save-the-date until July 2006 has passed. Comet and Cupid save-the-dates are perfect for including in Christmas cards, so why not announce your wedding with your Christmas wishes?

Crisp wintery weddings need an elegant accompaniment. Modern 'Water Lily' square placecards, with a hint of shimmery white organza, will adorn a frosted table perfectly.

Unveiling four exciting new images from the pink collection! Clockwise, from top,

PINK HYDRANGEA BLOSSOM: A bold, bright floral theme. PINK TULIPS: Fun and fresh for a springtime celebration. PINK SWEETPEAS: A soft, romantic image for a summer wedding. SINGLE PINK TULIP: A sophisticated alternative to the Pink Tulips, why not use one image for your daytime invitations and the other for your evening reception?

I will be adding new images to the collections throughout the year, so if you do not see what you require in the current collections please contact me, I may be planning to include it in the range.

Naming your tables, rather than opting for a conventional numbering system, means you can choose a theme that's personal to you, the most popular being places you have visited together or countries you have holidayed in before the wedding. Here are some of my other favourite themes, with six tablename suggestions for each to get you started!
